Congratulations to my friend Erin O’Toole the new leader of the Conservatives

I’ve worked beside Erin in Parliament for five years and I know he has what it takes to get Canada back on track.

Canada is the best country in the world and we Conservatives have a principled vision to make it stronger, more prosperous and united.

I’ve long supported Erin. Erin checks all the boxes for me: Military veteran; successful lawyer; well-respected Harper cabinet minister; devoted family man; has a good heart and backbone and is a down-to-earth nice guy.

Under his leadership, we’re going remove the corrupt Liberals from power.

I’d also like to thank Leslyn Lewis, Peter Mackay and Derek Sloan for running. All Canadians have a place with us Conservatives and it was great to hear and debate different ideas.

Watch Erin’s victory speech

I love many of the lines from Erin O’Toole’s speech last night after winning our Conservative leadership race. Watch the video below or read the text here.

Burgers to Beat MS day was August 20!

Two dollars from every Teen Burger that was purchased from an A&W on Thursday, August 20 was donated to the MS Society of Canada. A big thanks for all the folks who supported this worthy cause. Together we can find a cure for MS.

Black Ribbon day

Sunday, August 23 was Black Ribbon day, a time to remember the millions of innocent victims of the evil Nazi and Communist regimes.

Last week’s straw poll results

Last week I asked folks if they supported a vote of non-confidence in the Trudeau led Liberal government due to his most recent ethical failures.

Thanks to everyone who filled out the survey.

People unanimously voted in favour of a vote of non-confidence.

Have your say

The independent Parliamentary Budget Officer has warned that under the Liberals our national debt may be more than a trillion dollars this fiscal year.

Are you worried about the massive debt load the Liberals are leaving to future Canadians?

Have your say in my new unofficial poll. I’ll publish the results in next week’s e-newsletter.
