The Canada-U.S. border is opening up

Starting Aug. 9  fully vaccinated U.S. citizens and permanent residents will be allowed into Canada.

This will include the end to the non-essential travel category for fully vaccinated eligible travellers.

Children under 12 who are accompanied by fully vaccinated and eligible family members will also be exempt from quarantine.

Fully vaccinated Canadians are already allowed entrance into Canada without the need to quarantine.

Please note all travellers will be required to submit a negative COVID-19 test.

I support the Cuban people

As Cubans take to the streets to protest Cuba’s Communist authoritarian regime, world leaders need to stand by them in their demand for democracy and civil rights.

This shouldn’t be a partisan issue. For decades Cubans have been fleeing Cuba’s brutal Communist dictatorship.

Conservative Party Leader Erin O’Toole has been clear in his condemnation of the actions of Cuba’s Communist regime.

Justin Trudeau and Jagmeet Singh need to be clear as well.
